A disorder that is characterized by several discrete episodes in which the individual loses control of the aggressive impulse resulting in serious assault or destruction of property. The degree of aggressiveness is generally grossly out of proportion to any precipitating psychological stressor and the individual shows no signs of aggressiveness or impulsivity between episodes.
