A condition that can present on its own or in addition to depression during pregnancy or following delivery of a child. Symptoms may include constant worry, feelings that something bad in going to happen, racing thoughts that are difficult to slow down, feelings of inadequacy (the to-do list is never done, work is never good enough), sleep and appetite disturbances, restlessness and physical symptoms such as dizziness, nausea or diarrhea.
